Here's an idea Dick....
They said there were marks on the solenoid where someone was hitting it and they are saying KW will refuse to warrenty it cause of that? If so.....
Call them up and tell them you want a new solenoid put on the starter. Its gonna be a whole lot cheaper than a whole starter. If the starter works, you're good to go. If not? Tell the m to warrenty it and you want the new solenoid left in the truck.
You do it this way and they can't refuse to warrenty it! -
Better not pitch a fit with the company. They control your freight. They will find someone else to take over the lease.

i could have stayed in Lancaster, and not run a mile, and have the starter fixed for nothing.....but i ran a load from Dallas to Iowa City, IA., got paid 800 mi., was at home for a couple days, and still have the starter changed in the same time period as what Lancaster would have. So basicly this run paid for the starter. Either way....its really not costing me anything. -

Dick, expensive repairs are part of trucking. Get over it. Or your not gonna make it.
We warned you not to take the lease.
Good luck to ya.
I don't think your gonna make . -
