They won't warranty it cause there are marks on the solenoid is what you said right? Even if there are marks on the starter itself, they shouldn't refuse to warranty it. Your not going to damage the starter itself by hitting it with a hammer!
If you replace the solenoid and the problem still exists then they have to warranty it! -

You just don't get it. Truckers with experience and know how try to explain things to you and you always have to come back with an answer that reveals you don't know jack about trucking; lone enough how to run a truck or a business. Keep posting away tho. It is always entertaining when someone tries to appear to know what they are talking about....
A doctor? Like that is relevant.... We was talking about trucking.... You posted about being irrelevant and in the next sentence you start talking about doctors... Focus , try to stay focused...

outerspacehillbilly Thanks this. -
and Les2, Kenworth, down the road, would see a part was changed, and know it wasn't OEM, thus deny a future warranty claim based on past maintence history.
and outerspace, you really that concerned about my maintence fund? i doubt it. -
outerspacehillbilly Thanks this.

Here let me type this slow so you can follow along.... What I was talking about is your post when the truck wasn't breaking down I was bringing in a $1000.00 a week...
That is the problem right there...... You need to bring home more than a 1000 a week if your going to pretend to be an O/O. My post stating I used to bring home 800-1200 a week after taxes, no expenses as a company driver was to show you there is a problem if you are leasing, making payments, no bennies, not counting expenses or taxes and bringing in 1000 bucks a week IF the truck isn't in the shop.....
Now what are you going to talk about money wise? Astronauts? Brain surgeons?
