Going with Greatwide Logistics!

Dang! That's crazy stuff man! Well we're overloaded with loads, I got a message on my Quallcom today and it they said we're 48 loads behind. About 95% of those are 450+ mile loads. Maybe one thing that help's us is that out terminal is fenced in with the Wal-Mart distribution center, I don't know? We're always busy though. I hope things get better for you over there!

 

How are you enjoying GREATWIDE now? What are your weekly miles like?

 

Everything WAS going great! The company Greatwide itself was awesome! I was getting 2500+ a week. I stopped working for them because the owner operator I was working for stopped paying me, I was constantly chasing money. I was being paid late every week asking when I would get paid. So I up and left him, I tried to change owner operator's but there were no openings. So I went back to my old job. It's local, paid weekly so everything is working out pretty good now. Greatwide itself was a awesome company! Always had loads, miles, friendly, just a all around good company from what I seen.

As a small fleet owner I am struggling to pay drivers right now.. But I always pay them b4 anything else then maint and truck.. then fleet acct... but I have been putting very little aside lately even with decent miles..

 

Las Vegas 3 times a week HAHA they dont even run there anymore..Place is a joke''
they go through dispatchers every 2 months...rotate miles on you, one week good next bad

No we run out of Temple New Caney Cleburne and Terrell.

 

But your story sounds all to familiar. 2500 miles this week 500 next. One week you get a call daily and can't get any sleep the next you run every 3rd day. I am looking for something else just not a lot going on right now. I have been with them for about 6 years. It use to be great up until about 2 1/2 years ago. Ray Greer and John Simone decided we needed a centralized dispatch it has been all downhill since then. Heck even the dispatchers (the ones at the window that had out paperwork not central) have a strong dislike for it. Like I said I use to really love this place. At 1 point I was making 2k bring home on 4 1/2 days.. Now I have to work 7 to clear a grand. Lovely huh
