Im attending Sage in Kingman right now. Taking my final drive test on Thursday, then off to Missoula on Jan 10th for orientation. Sage is a good school. You wont be disappointed.

Well it was one heck of a ride from Helena to PA the past couple days. Almost the whole way on solid ice, blowing snow reducing visibility to near zero and a constant 30 to 50 MPH cross wind the whole time...LOL

I was watching the weather out east so I delayed my run by only driving 6 hours Friday night. I wanted to give the storm a head start and get through where I was going first rather than driving right into it. That part of it worked out but the cleanup took a bit longer it would seem....LOL

I got shut down in Sioux Falls SD for an extended stay of about 11 hours when they shut down the 90 and 29. It was minus 3 with 40 below wind chills. The Loves we were all at was just packed and the guys on bucket loaders were movig snow to make room for more....:biggrin_25523:

Once they opend the 29, I could see why it was shut down. I've NEVER seen so many cars and trucks just scattered everywhere all at once. I sure hope nobody was hurt.

This was what it was like most of the way......:biggrin_2556:

Ouch! We shut down at a rest around south of Council Bluffs, IA during the blizzard/I29 closure and then after they opened it we made it up to Sioux City, IA and had to stop again and relay our load. Our heater broke so no heat or defrost in that weather wasn't working out so well. In the shop now getting it fixed.

I'm glad you made it through safely!

Sammy, according to the weather, you are in for it as well. I just heard them say that most of NY will be getting the horrible snows' later this week. Hope it doesn't get you as bad as MN...

    Hey everyone,

Well it sure is nice to be sitting where it's above 10 degrees for a change...:biggrin_25523:

I'm in Atlanta GA enjoying a balmy 39. I had a broker load of copper tubing spools I pulled out of Reading PA and took to Stone Mountain. It wasn't due until today at 9:00 but I couldn't see sitting on it so I called the consignee and unloaded it yesterday at 2:30. :biggrin_25525:

Crissy (dispatch) called me and said I'm giving her brain farts because it's hard to keep up...LOL I had asked for a run to get me thru NM to pick up a gift for a friend of mine and then back to the East for Christmas. She's like....Ummmm...how we gonna do that?? LOL I said awww...c'mon sweetie, don't you have a short hop to AZ and then back? We laughed about it. But it seems they're going to keep me here on the East Coast to be sure I'll get home.

I asked for the 24th to the 2nd and it looks good! So I'll be able to enjoy Christmas and the new year with my loved ones. :yes2557: I already know I'll be itching to get back out here after that time but I can't wait to get home and see my family and friends as well.

So after my run from Helena to PA, Ole Betsy was white as a ghost. So I had her and the trailer washed up and they're shining like new. Figured at this time of year, I'd better get a picture as I'm sure that won't last long....:biggrin_25513:....:biggrin_2559:

    Ain't she purrty?
