    There's one guy who now has 47 posts and over 1200+ thanks.

    Hypotheticaly, a guy could have 1 post and 3000 thanks.

    Not sure what went into the decision to remove post counts made in the political forum, but for many posters who contribute to this fine board, it kinda no longer makes any sense to me now.


    I know there are people who post heavily in the political forum, but I never really deemed them as post count ######, regardless if I agreed with them or not.

    The main reason for this was because this is a trucking site first and foremost. Some folks make all their posts in politics and it makes them look like active helpful members when in reality they rarely post outside of politics or contribute to helping the truckers who come here looking for help.

    It really had nothing to do with people running up a post count.

    I hope that helps to explain why we went the route we did.
