WOW!!!!! That is incredible! You two did an awesome job! Apparently you guys can accomplish anything! I too was heavy about 245lbs when I first started driving. I am at 163lbs right now. I actually lost most of my weight when I was over the road. I made it my goal and an everyday challenge. It really saved us a lot of money not eating at restaurants everyday. Walmart!!!! Once a week! The only thing we would keep in the truck was healthy food. I actually did more of the calorie counting thing. Tried to stay under 1200 a day. Also come hell or high water I forced myself to do some type of exercise for 30 min! It was fun trying to come up with different exercises to do over the road. A lot of them I incorporated the truck. Such as pull-ups under the trailer or push-ups with my feet on the truck steps. I would also use the truck steps like a stairmaster just going up and down. I had a set of select-tech dumbells in which you could adjust the weight all the way up to 65lbs. I kept a little fold up weight bench bungee'd to my slider bar on the catwalk. (sorry rambling again) We did indulge every once and awhile. Once a week we were allowed a cheat. I tell you what though when we did treat ourselves once a week it usually made us sick. So it wasn't really worth it. I guess from eating so well your body doesn't want the junk! Any how, Congrats again, that is just so killer! Lady K, your awesome! (so is Mr. K!)

That's awesome you all lost weight together.
Is that your new house in that pic?
I can't help but notice the roughed in receptacle. Lol, truckers eye. -
Thank you - although I must say that we did use a bigger hammer to lose the weight (gastric bypass) but to KEEP it off - we have to follow ALL the rules that we did to lose the weight to begin with. The only thing surgery did was rearrange the gut - it did nothing to the head - which got us where we were in the first place. You are so right though about getting the body use to eating right, that when you put junk in it your body feels like #### (choose the 4 letter word of your choice). Great ideas on the exercise though - that is one of the things I've been thinking about - and DO NOT want to return to my former weight!!
chompi Thanks this. -

Rerun, you need to quit smoking! In your picture it looks as though your skin is getting darker. Are you using filtered ciggs? Gotta admit though for your age your hair is still jet black! Hell you look 10 years old in that picture! Whatever you're doing keep it up!
Rerun8963 Thanks this. -
i cannot remember the country he is from, and if he does not get his daily "doses" of cigs, he cries like the typical 2 year old... !!!
