Central refrigerated refresher course?

''iv'e just applied from this company as company driver ? i told the recruiter a have my cdl, but never been on the road...i went to my local cdl school 10 months ago but i only uess it inside of the construction area from where i work..pulling 24feet hydro seeder
'now he says,..he is going to put me on 12 days Refresher school then after 12 days complation and they will hired me...

CENTRAL REFRIGERATED
I noticed that you have previously attended a driving school and because of this, I can offer you our program at a discounted rate. *You will need to provide a graduation certificate or grades from your previous school to qualify for the discounted rate.

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WITH YOU THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
- $100 REGISTRATION FEE

You will complete a 2 week refresher course and a 3 day company orientation. After
completion you are hired on by Central and will have 5 weeks of over-the-road, paid training.
Pay is $450 per week during training. After training, you are a Company Driver.

Cost: $900 if paid in full on your starting date.
Or, a $2000 agreement that Central finances for you. This is paid back at $23.07/week
for 44 weeks. Central will pay the remaining $1,000 after the 44 weeks with the company.

**Central does provide your transportation as well as your housing (if over 50 miles from school).
School Locations:
Salt Lake City, UT
Riverside, CA - must be a resident of the state of CA
Conley, GA -

You will need to bring $100 non-refundable deposit the day you start, and enough money
for your food while you are here.


PAY SCALE (after training)


Solo Company Drivers: Lease Program / Owner Operators:
0+ to 6 months = $.28/mile 0 to 6 months = $.85/mile
6+ to 12 months = .30/mile 6 to 36 months = .86/mile
1+ to 2 years = .31/mile 36 to 60 months = .87/mile
2+ to 3 years = .315/mile 60+ months = .88/mile
3+ to 4 years = .32/mile
4+ to 5 years = .325/mile
5+ years = .33/mile
Additional Pay with Longevity...
Top Pay = .36/mile

.08 Cents/ mile rate is per diem pay which is non taxed money.
Productivity Bonus: Run 9,500 miles a month and earn a penny more per mile.
Quarterly Safe Driver Bonus: $500/quarter
Quarterly Safety and Fuel Meeting:$50/month
Also Receive a Service Bonus: $15 per load delivered on time. (Final Stop Only)


Once you have been a Company Driver for 90 days you have the opportunity to advance into
our Owner Operator/Lease Program. Our Owner Operator's make on average 20% to 50% more
than our company drivers. We also pay your school loan is payed off at that time!

 

is there anybody newbies out there? that has to attend with this refresher course like this before? i believe they are better than CRE
