Curious as to what part of Ohio you're in?

I'm SW of Canton but getting ready to head down 77.

Whats it like in you area? <<<<forgot to put that in there cause of a kid bugging me about going to school.

 

NW Indiana got hit hard today with many road closures. Parts of US 30 east of Valparaiso was shut down too. The NE is getting it now. You all be extra careful and stock them trucks up for the worst. It's real easy to get trapped in a road closure. The news caught a big truck running off the road and into the woods on video. I was like Wow!

 

What a nasty mess. Finally found parking in a Pennsylvania rest area on I90.

This delivery appointment and my log are shot but me and the truck are still here. Hoping it's better after my break. Continuing down 90 to Rome, NY.

I wanted to park in Seville/Lodi, OH on 71 but it was obvious all the trucks were trying to get in there already after clearing a black ice patch. Saw several 4 wheeler spinning out down there.

 

We got about 1/2" snow in the valley here in east TN. On the mountain they got like 4". Close the schools, call the national guard, lol. They panic at 10&#37; chance of flurries. If they only knew!

I know one thing, it's frickin cold outside. Down in the teens.

 

We are in the same area. I live down below massillon. Our kids was on a 2 hour delay yesterday and today they had school, but the school district we live in didn't.

Roads were a little slick till we got going down 77 then they cleared up. Dealt with mostly blow over yesterday.

 

Seemed like I got ahead of some of it. The parking lot here was in decent shape last night now this morning there is more snow out here.

 

Lol wow what would they do if they got the storm we just got? 23 inches of snow, 30-40 mph gusts and temps in the single digits.

 

Truckers are like farmers...we just love to talk about the weather!
