I have done 5 loads for them in the past 1.5 years.
Today we did out 6th and last load.
I don't know which one is worse CH Robinson or TQL.
I'm not going to get into any details right now. However what they said and what actually transpired is like comparing black to white.
TQL Never again

I would rather haul for TQL anyday over Robinson. I have actually pulled a couple loads for them in the past couple months and found them to be some of the nicer people to deal with on the phone. Sorry you had a different experience with them.
Petpg123 Thanks this. -
both are real cheap freight brokers, I know, i've had to pull a couple of there loads, so stop hauling cheap freight, I did.
neils27 Thanks this. -
Why would a driver who has put his all in a trucking company HALL CHEAP FREIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Lilmissgearjamher and neils27 Thank this. -

TQL, CH Robinson, CR England, Universal, JB Hunt, General Transportation (Portland, Or.) JJ Jerue, and Pride are all a bunch of freight crooks....BEWARE....STAY AWAY FROM THE CHEAP ####!!...They should all be banned from the industry in my book. -
I hauled 1 load for TQL and it was my last one. Cheap freight and rude dispatch. On the other hand I've had no problems with C H Robinson

They all stink to a certain extent but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Just remember what comes around goes around. It's just the game with any broker - if they know freight is tough they're gonna rape you on the rate. It's up to you to decide if it makes sense to haul the load.

Hauled 1 load for TQL nearly a yr ago. No problems. Been pulling CHR loads pretty consistently and have virtually no problems. Yeah, some loads are pretty cheap, we just don't take those. But we have managed to build a relationship witrh certain people in certain branches and after a year have gotten to the point that they call us for a truck. All goes to negotiating the rate and knowing what your "bottom line" is on a particular load. If things go as planned, those loads will become a supplement to fill in when there's time available between show dates and tours. Hopefully nothing more than boredom relievers. One can dream, right?
The Challenger and Pur48Ted Thank this. -
Its a busness not a friendship get it in writting. Can't come to rates and terms to your liking thanks but no thanks
