bad swift mentor BEWARE

because that would mean the hubby would have to grow a set.....sorry im blunt im sure i'll be bashed for the harsh truth but oh well....im the guy that says what alot of people would like to say but are afraid they might offend.even tho it's true...again sorry.

ptl truck lines is a pice of crook i am exp driver got hired with ptl in murry ky told them about home time they said no problem when you are ready to come home turn the truck blue and we know you are ready to come home iam black i turned the truck blue black and orange pink stayed out 18days they gave me load to new jersey said it had to deliver the nex day a 12oclock could i get it there on time i took the load and got it there on time frome murry ky i ask to routed home they told me to go to truck stop and chill out till they find me a load i sat at the truck stop for 8 hours so i stayed all night at the pilot tuc stop saturday morning no load so i got me a tank of fuel and drop that rig back to grso nc empty mondy they called and ask me why did i leave nj empty they said they had load in pittsburg for me to pick up well thats one load that i missed get the big picture see you later ptl

my mentor was great with swift young a love his dedicated route with..he prolly was a good mentor because his mentor treated him like sh** but hubby jus need to stick it out..he should have set the respect level from day one of the yelling.

 

LMFAO. mentor's?..heck the one I started with didn't even know how to put on snow chains,,actually paid $40 to a roadside to put them on in Vail Pass.

Most are just as new to the trucking industry as most of the students are,,they are only there cause they can get .40 cpm for every mile the student drives (while the student gets less than minimum wage at $67 per day)

Swift mentors,,lmfao,, the jokes on you........the company gets the load transported,,the mentor gets the .40 cpm for your miles driven..the student gets to put up with the attitudes of the mentors for chump change.

You have 240 hours of driving to "graduate",,YET,,you will also need 40 backs to graduate also,,hmmm, means if ya didn't get those while you were driving your 240 hrs,,the mentors get to keep making a killing off of your hard work,,

All that Swifts mentor program is ,,, is a way to scam the new drivers or the experienced drivers just starting back.

Most are out there to JUST get your miles,,if you learn anything,or they take the time to teach you anything,,,,then you will be one of the lucky ones.

My advise.. STAY AWAY FROM Swift,,been there,,done that,,Swift really does suk

 

Not all mentors/trainers are bad. Just because yours sucked and you didn't report him to get him blacklisted from training doesn't mean you need to come in here with your piss and vinegar. Do yourself a favor go chill out before you give yourself a heart attack or stroke.

 

I think everyone forgets how this is the "Report a Bad Trucking Coming Here" area and not the "Discuss Your Favorite Trucking Company Here" area. If you don't like what someone has to say start a new topic and talk about the good things about your company. Everyone is entitled to share his/her experiences and opinions. Or am I missing something here?

You're beating a dead horse and getting nowhere. Unfortunately people either can't read or start new positive topics on their own. This has been mentioned repeatedly over and over on this site. Just like that new student that shouldn't be driving because he can't read road signs, the same can be said about the same type of people that frequent this website. Learn to read, please!
