I hope this post isn't too inappropriate.

I was driving in my car for several hours yesterday when a...flare up made it too uncomfortable to sit still for more than maybe 30 seconds at a time. I got by eventually by sitting while leaning on one butt cheek then switching to the other occasionally until I made it home.

It made me wonder. Surely some of you must have to deal with this condition. I couldn't imagine driving 14 hours that way. What do you do about it? Perhaps one of those donut seat cushions?

Merry Christmas, and all I get was a case of.... well never mind.

I have had them for a very long time. Back in the 80's they was so bad a doc told me they could not get rid of them in the 1st surgery. They was causing my prostrate to act up. I never had any surgery at all. Just dealt with it. Over the years I have used preparation H, soaked in a hot tub when I was home. Used wet wipes on the road to help. Mine would actually protrude sometimes. They actually got better over the years on their own. They make a doughnut ring to sit on, but I never used one. I am a flat bedder or was. We are tough. We don't let little stuff like that keep us from trucking... now the box boys probably call 911 and get a ride in the meat wagon...:biggrin_2559:

I remember playing asteriods when I was a kid....

I think the original poster meant to say hemmoroids.... I never had a problem with those either. My biggest dilemma is farting... then the air bubble refuses to pop & just hangs around there in my spandex
