    A few years ago, crossing I-68 coming into WV in near white out conditions, I decided to duck into the rest area and wait til the worst of it blew by. 6 cars followed me into the rest area thinking they were still on the Interstate! They couldn't see anything and were just following a truck.

    been there done that...let me see was that November 2008...right before thanksgiving?

    If so that was a hellride nothing like doin 20-30 mph cause there was no place to stop along that ###### roller coaster...I got to the rest area there in WV just comin out of MD and pulled over for a bit got some coffee and relaxed

    WOW!!! Seems like everyone agrees! Not one supertrucker here huh! Kansas had a really good point too! Keep them tanks full in the winter! You never know where you are going to be shut down and for how long. Plus in my experience while shut down at the truck stop in a bad storm I have seen many times the power go out. This means no fuel, no ATM, NO FOOD! Always good to have cash on you. Oh yeah, and food!
