Oh, you can't see the pic. Now I get it! I'm fighting a cold, so I'm not that quick on the uptake today.

It's a pic of train cars with the containers on them, and they all have the Swift logo on the containers. It's actually a cool pic.

I don't. What's there to "beech" about since we've already established that Swift has an intermodal division? (BTW: I can't see the pic either. Just going off what Lilbit said.)

:biggrin_2559:"call you DM and discuss whether or not to take it." You don't run out of Memphis. We get #####ed at for calling in. Go East young lady! The planners in Jonestown usually get 1 shorty out of me and then I pitch a fit. I don't go inside the 287 loop and NYC. I haven't been offered any CT, MA, NH, VT, or ME.

They pay their NE fleet more per mile IIRC. I don't mind up state NY.

i've never had a problem with taking more than 3 days off, and having my truck reassigned. If you're out for 3-4 weeks, you have 3-4 days coming your way, they wont take you out of the truck....UNLESS you happen to be at a MAJOR terminal with high turn-over. then MAYBE....

but i take 4-5 days off during memorial day weekend, and never have had to give my truck back.

I picked up my truck DH 185mi. home and took 5 days off. I had to nudge the fleet manager with, "dude I've been out with the mentor for 7 weeks straight!"

I understood lilbit's comment about the photo. As for his comment about "beech"......well I understand that too. He didn't read your post very well and evidently he thinks if a woman speaks with knowledge about something he doesn't know........it's "beeching". Small mrhappy syndrome.

    just lil me Thanks this.
