How many truck stops can you still smoke in ??

I have no respect for them on the parks and the fact that you smoke and it is your workplace in the truck.

However, when you leave the truck, it does not always go to a smoker and there is where the problem comes in. Kind of a catch 22.

 

Why not make them smoke free when inside a building. Then anyone that wants to pollute themselves, can go outside where it does not affect a fellow human being.

Seems quite logical to me.

Bottom line is that for many years I did not enter a smoke filled place.

Smokers are one of the reasons I quit running as a paramedic full time. People have the right to smoke in their homes. I am allergic and after every smoker call, I had to take showers and clean clothes.

The biggest lie you will ever see is the non smoking area in any building.

Fart there and see if the smell crosses into the other area. Smoke does not just stop.

 

True. We have assigned trucks though and when I basically live in the thing 4 or 5 days a week I'm not going to worry about that. Though you can never get rid of the smell completely and some who are over sensitive will complain I don't really think it constitutes a health risk.

 

Try it when you are allergic to it.

 

That sucks but people are allergic to a lot of things. Try and stop the secretaries from wearing perfume.

 

I am not closed in a box with the secretary.
