Time to replace my steer tires Bridgestone currently, What brand and model has a good reputation? of course not the most expensive.

Ive had several sets of Generals. Current ones are the S371. They wear very true and get good milage from them. On a scale off 1 to 10 price wise they run a 7 or 8. I would recomend them. $360 each I think for 11r24.5? I dont remember.

I'm really liking the Firestone 590's right now...I'll be buying them again if these ever wear out.

BF Goodrich ST 244
I just replaced mine with another pair...the take offs were wore to 4/32 and I had 133,000 miles out of them on a Kenworth T*00 tractor.

those are the ones I use. nice ride. I tried the bridgstone with deeper rubber, though they would last longer due to lot more rubber. not. they started wearing uneven & did not last more than 80,000 miles. but since then I had centramatics put on & so far great wear on my bf's

Those are the 560's...The 590's run about $325 at TDS in Salt Lake City where I buy my tires.
