Do you already have your CDL? The road test may come after you complete your training time.

    123456 Thanks this.

The road test for USA Truck comes after you've been out with your trainer a couple of weeks.

Yes, I already have a CDL, but no experience.

And no, it was not a recruiter that told US not me. The instructor at orientation told us there is no road test for students.

Yes, there is a road test after returning from time on the road with a trainer.

Wow, they really drag it out! I guess it takes time to do their backround tests. The place I started at took 2 days to evaluate our driving abilities, both in the city and backing manuvers. They required our grade point averages before we were even invited us to orientation........and we lost 2 people during that process, one gal just about took out the fence at the guard shack, driving the rig like a car and the other guy was unable to do a 45 degree back.

Ok. End of Day 3. No official word yet. Apparently, all the drug tests have not come back yet. I have no concerns about that, but no offer is given until the results are in. Orientation ends tomorrow around 2PM. At that time, we will either leave with a trainer, go back to the hotel to wait for a trainer, or be bused to meet a trainer on the road. Also, if there will be a delay before a trainer is assigned, the option to go home and wait for a trainer is offered. There's no pay to wait at home, but since I have kids, both of whom have birthdays this month, if it is offered, I will take it.
