the problem with buying older trucks and running reefer wagons, is CARB.
California has new clean air enforcement laws coming into the not too distant future. In fact, I think the DPF retrofit law comes online within the next 2 years.

Does JCT pay for trailer washouts??? And Ive heard that they run a lot of heavy and overweight loads, do they pay for overweight tickets if you get one without any backlash against you, the driver, if you did your best to scale it out right or are they ok with going back to the shipper and having them rework the load or pulling product off??? And do they have a passenger and pet rider program??? Are they bad for having multiple stops either pickup or drop off on their loads??? What is the stop off pay for that??? Do they offer layover and detention pay and what is it???

Yes they do pay for washout. In 2 years I have never pulled a overweight load. I take the load back to the shipper. Yes on Passenger, no on pets.
Very few multiple stops. $40 per stop.

Most of the questions you asked are in this forum. I suggest you do some reading

$40 per drop after 1st/ $40 per pick after 5th pick.. Detention depends on what type of loads, usually no on tyson but after 6 hours i believe you can request on tyson and 4 hours every other load

All right Alan, you just confused me and I have read all the pages. Course, that doesn't MEAN that I remember all of them. :biggrin_25518: I am assuming that by "picks", you mean multiple pick ups. You don't get anything till after the 5th but you get paid for multple drops after the 1st? What did I miss here?

you didn't miss anything, indeed you only get mileage pay for the first 5 pickups. as for drops you get paid the extra 40 after 1st drop....basically you can disregard the pickup pay, cuz we hardly go over that 5 pickups anyways
