ya see........I'm a really good cook when I know what Im doing or have good directions but other then that........I can't cook, as much as I'd love to park and have a nice beef stew I wouldnt even know where to begin cooking that in a truck. Now I could do Cambels Chunky Beef Stew....:biggrin_2559:

I really need a cute lady trucker to team with me that can cook....I'll even do all the driving is as long as she keep cook'in!

Ok, buddy. Here's a recipe for beef stew. But be advised, you will get hungry smelling this baby cooking.

Hi AT, this is the Mrs. typing now...this is an easy whip it together plan for beef stew. You can't mess it up at all and you can add ingredients that you like to it without ruining it such as corn, peas, string beans. Quantities are up to you, add as much as you like.

    1. You need a crock pot that can run all day.

    Recipe:

1-1 1/2 lbs. stew beef (get it in the beef dept at the grocery store or
ask the butcher to give you some.
    2 onions cut into chunks
several potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
several carrots scrubbed and cut into 1" pieces
    water
beef bullion powder or cubes (or use already made beef broth from the soup dept.)
    salt, pepper
    corn starch or flour

Put the beef stew pieces, potatoes, carrots into the crock pot. Add enough beef broth (use ready made broth or make you own following the directions on the bullion jar) to cover the ingredients. Turn on the crock pot on high and let the contents cook all day (8 hours works) until the potatoes and carrots or tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir together about 2 tablespoons of the corn starch or flour with enough water to make a thick liquid. Gradually add it to the crock pot and stir gently just before serving. This will thicken the both. Only use enough to thicken it to the desired consistency. Enjoy!! This will make enough to keep you going for quite a while.

There you go, buddy. If you have specific questions, you can shoot me a pm and I'll get the answers for you.

    Have fun!
