    Hello everyone!

I just recently transferred over to the Droid 2 from my Blackberry Storm. I am, so far, very happy with the switch.

I have done some looking around on the Android market at apps and games but there is sooo much to look through.

So I am wondering, what are some of y'alls favorites?

Have any of you found any good trucking related apps?

These are some of my favorites apps so far:
~Pandora - (free) Great radio app, I have used Pandora on my laptop for a couple years anyway.
~PdaNet - (app free, 1 time $25 fee for service) Allows me to turn my phones unlimited Data into internet wfor my computer by tethering with no additional monthly costs from Verizon (and it's completely legal and not against verizon's policies).
~Facebook - (free) Gotta have my Facebook access :)
~U Connect - ($.99) - Fun little game, good time waster, can pick up and put down instantly so great for passing time at customer when you don't know how long you have.
~OI Safe - (free) Secure password/info storage app, much better than writing stuff on scraps of paper.
~Kindle - (came free on my phone) Great way to be able to read on a truck without crowding your very limited living space with books. Great way to pass time.

I just changed over to Verizon and got the Droid Incredible for my daughter and I

    WeatherBug......current weather w/radar!
    ScanLife...........for barcode scanning
PdaNet....only paid 15.00! need to put it on my daughters Droid
    My Bank app...self explanatory
    A couple of soundboards
    an unistaller
    an anti virus
Advanced Task Killer.....shuts down apps not needed to conserve battery life.
    Facebook

There's a ton out there, I've wasted hours looking through apps! Will have to look into that Kindle, screens a little small for reading though!

I'll have to check into some of those.

One Question: Are viruses prevalent on android based phones? I didn't know phones could even get viruses.

It's basically a mini-computer and anyone with knowledge can create an app and put it out there for download. I really don't know for sure but figured better safe then sorry! I have the Antivirus Free, scans apps you download.

Ok, my best friend told me the same thing when I first told her I got a Droid phone. I downloaded it that day and tried it. I didn't find it fun at all. Maybe it was just bad timing, I was still trying to figure out how to work the phone and had already found a few games I really loved. Maybe I'll redownload Angry Birds tomorrow and give it another shot.

Radar Now. Its gives you a weather radar picture of your current area. Great for storms, snow etc. Gives a 15 min, repeating weather picture so you can see where the storm is coming from and where its going.

Ok, this is where another question of mine comes in.

I downloaded that app but unless I'm missing something, you have to manually go in and click a button to have it kill everything (which I don't often remember to do).

Is there a wazy to make this app do it automatically or is there another app that does it automatically?

I am getting horrible battery life atm.
