Headed out of the TS at 6am and drove 274 miles to Willington, CT got here at 10:45am and I'm about an hour from my first stop.....which doesn't open until 9am tomorrow!
AND this is one of those WUNDERFUL PAY TO PARK TA's! So for anyone else that heads up this way you might wanna skip this place, this is the second one of these's I've been to.
Theres a prime truck literaly Burried in the snowApperently the truck has been sitting here a while, when they plowed they plowed the snow all up around it. The snow is halfway up the trailer doors.......Up to the windows, and up to the top of the hood.....the hoods got a foot of snow on it as well as the roof of the trailer! Who ever this truck belongs to is gonna need a shovel to get in the truck and to move it
Any way at least im close to the building so for now anyway the WiFi is fast...
one more thing about this place, so I figured since they're gonna take our money for parking I would utilize the "free for now" windsheild washer crap at the pumps.....and they're all frozen solid! lol
This runs going to be a whole new type of hard for me, I have limited hours...I dont start rolling over until Tuesday night/wen morning at midnight....and I have 19.25 left I can make this work but knowing Boston Traffic this might actully take till thursday like my paper work says....I donno I'm usually really good a knocking these runs out fast so I'm shooting for MT by wen night...we'll see

AT can you take a pic of the snowbound truck? Would be interesting.
Any what did you have to pay and what do you get that you would or would not get at a ''free'' T/S????? Hopefully they directed you in to your heated parking spot like they bring planes in at the airport!!! -
its $10 allot of the TA's around big citys charge $10, its free if you spend more then $25 or buy fuel (i think)

you'll find that alot of truck stops will charge you 10-20 bucks to park ESPECIALLY in bigger cities or in a high crime area ( Laredo TA ) but that's only for 24 hours
