DTB radio down past the Flying J truck stop in Charlie PA. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about his work ( he is not a hack! ) in all of my years of driving. Talked to him a few weeks ago and he is a really nice guy and is the only tech i would let touch any of my radios in the north east. I will send you the link to his site.

I say take the drive up to DTB Radio in Carlisle, PA. It's well worth the trip. Or you could just go to Jessup T/A.

Sorry guys but my experience with DTB wasn't the best. Out of the entire lower 48 I believe Reese, I-81 PA exit 5, is by far, the absolute best! No one but Reese will EVER touch my radio(s)! He corrected the work done by DTB with absolute phenomenal results! I own several radios now and he has done all of the work on them. (Cobra 29 LTD Classic, Connex 3300 HP, Connex 4600, and a Magnum S9) The latter 3 are obviously very expensive very powerful radios...and only the best of the best are allowed to work on them! Reese is certainly THE best! Ask around and u will hear nothing but good word of great results. Sorry DTB...Reese simply has a few more awesome "tricks" up his magic sleeve! As for the guy in MD # exit 5 (I-81)...he is known far and wide as "Bob the butcher". Need I say more? Just sit # the truckstop for 5 mins and ask other drivers about his work...within that 5 mins...Ill bet my last $ you'll hear "Bob the butcher"! Or you'll hear a driver with an over-modulated NASTY sounding radio swear he is great. LOL. BTW- not only do I praise Reese as a bonifid radio genius, he's also significantly cheaper then anyone I've seen/heard of... usually $10-$20 below anyone else's quoted prices. Ultimately the decision is yours...but I promise...Reese will NOT disappoint! EVER!

Well...to find out a little more about Reese, just simply ask other drivers on the radio or go in an talk to him. He doesn't have a web site or anything like that. The quality of his work generates ALOT of "word of mouth" business for him. Like I said, I-81 PA Exit 5. He works out of the TA motel there...room 127. DON'T LET THAT THROW YOU OFF! He's in there by choice...he'll tell ya why if you ask. It actually a crazy story. I hesitated for a while to let him do the work because the fact that he worked outta a hotel room just didn't sit well with me, until someone told me the same thing, "dont let that motel room throw ya off driver...he's better then Sparkys". Ever since then he's done all of my work on very nice high dollar radios. Anyway, you will agree once you go see him! Let me know after you do...can't wait to hear "you were right, he's AWESOME!" LOL. Anyway there are TONS of ways to know you just got a hack job...squeaking, over modulation, sounds hacked up to other drivers,, will not transmit/receive well, antennae light comes on, you sound "muddy" to others, not clean/clear to others, radio runs hot...just so many reasons! Hope you get by to see Reese soon... I really want to hear that "wow" from you. Lol.

My apologies for typos and misspelling! I'm posting from my phone these days... that Connex 4600 Turbo wasn't cheap! Lol
