They will be here about 7:30 ish - I have to leave for my night shift at 10:30 - so that gives 3 hours for dinner and 2 loads of laundry - and at least one hug - LOL! Even if it was for 30 minutes - I would enjoy seeing him. If you guys make it back this way before I leave - we have a free washer/shower/and home cooked meal :biggrin_25525: just let me know!!

PS. we also have truck parking right across the street, as long as it hasn't been raining - if it has - there is parking 1/2 mile down the street. Oh and easy freeway access to both I-80 and I-5:biggrin_255:

Where abouts is "this way"? I know CA but what part? We almost never go to CA but are headed there now, to a place called Patterson (not exactly sure where that is though lol).

Well for all you hubby & wife teams I applaud you! I hear it is tough to team in general. (I am about to try it myself) Never mind w/ your other half. I have seen some that are just able to do it and work threw any problems but it takes the rite couple for sure.

LOL - I won't 'hug and tell' - but figure we also had his trainer here as well as our daughter and SIL. It was just good to see his smiling face!! Although the hug (and kiss) was a bonus ;)

It helps that we have been married to our best friend for 27+ years :D We might spit and spat with each other every now and again - but nothing on the serious side. I can't wait!! We have been working different shifts (him day, me evening) for quite a while - we also had other resposibilities during our 'off' time. Now we are going to be together - work and play. Its something we 'dreamed' about doing (truck driving) and we even know what we are getting our selves in for (for the most part - can't say for certain until we get out there), since Klingon was O/O 20+ years ago. Not so much OTR - but for days at a time away from home. Now our home will be the truck (daughter and SIL moving into our house) so we don't have to try for the 'home time' - since our home is where we are :D We will just aim to visit the kids (and our new grandchild due in Aug) every now and again :)

If you use the piolt / Flying J "frequent Fueler" Card you get one shower for every 50 gallons of fuel you buy....
