FYI - the current maps that are on these are mostly in compliance with that map. The next release is rock-solid on agreeing with that map. NYC is going to put of the 2011 version of it sometime soon. So it will have to be checked again.

Drivers, I need two people that have a 64Bit/Win7 laptop and the TND will show connected, but the TND Dock at the bottom does not show IntelliRoute in orange...

Just E-mail me...thanks, and as always... put in subj line 64bit/Win7

I have something in my bag of tricks I need to test...

    Thanks,

    Mark,

What are the specs for the mobile power supply for the TND700-lost the sticker on the thing and killed it by stepping on it. Thniking it was like 5 volts at 1 amp or something but I need to replace it. Thanks

    DC cable

    T5B and T5C - 5vdc\1amp
    T5E - 5vdc\1.5amp

    T7C - 5vdc\2amp
    T7E - 5vdc\2amp

On the TND 700's if you use less than what is required, it will work, but over a length of time the input charge will not be enough to overcome the battery draw. A charger rated at 1 amp output will power the TND, but the TND drawing power to operate and the battery drawing power to charge will only allow the TND to run maybe on a good day about 5 hours before it will shut off.

    thanks,
    mark

    Hi mark,

There is an error in the mapping software on the TND700 for a road to one of my company's OC's. eveery time I try to map to or from this OC, it gives me that error stating that there is no legal route for a truck & I am forced to put it in Car mode until I get back out to I-90/80 here in indiana.

The OC's address is 1584 Fulton Street, Gary, IN. The restriction does not begin until a block over # Morse Street heading east.

Let me or any other driver attempt to set up a trip from I-80/94 /I90 at exit 5 comming to the OC, we may as well forget it. The darn thing gives us a fit. (several other drivers has either the 500 or the 700. ) This also happens if we attempt to involve any part of cline ave.

Can you see if you can try & get this error fixed for the next or soon update.

    Thanks

    Mark,
My old unit serial number had a T7E in it. My new one also is T7E but today is started acting funny the screen was blinking and it said "no gps" on the screen. It also stop tracking my movement and as soon as I unplugged the power it shut off. I brought it home and put on the ac adapter and it seems to be charging up. Tomorrow I will take the ac adapter and try that in the truck. I have ac power source in truck. If that works it means my car adapter will not work with new unit. Does that mean I will have to order a new one from Rand that is more powerful?

The 7E should work with another 7E...sounds like maybe a bad DC cable..

    Thanks,
    Mark

It worked okay with the old unit that I had. I will look at adapter when I get in truck tomorrow to see if I can read label to see what output is.
Is the link I put here the right adapter .

try checking the USB port on the T7E and make sure the internal part of the USB connector on the T7E is not loose.

    thanks,
    Mark
