You will find 99% of the time that if the recruiter's lips are moving, they're lying. It's their job to tell you what you want to hear so they can reel you in, because you are their job security.

Too bad we couldn't keep the Nebraska "Cornshuckers" out of the Big 10. They really need to change the name of the conference.

Ok...the question I was responding to was whether or not Maverick recruits/recognizes students from Trainco.

They do, because Trainco is a #### fine school, and is head and shoulders above most of the competition.

    According to????

You really don't have much history or experience (experience meaning a sampling of various schools through attending the school not just reading about it or using hearsay)...you are what would be considered "biased" in your statements about the school.

You will find that trucking schools merely teach what will be required to pass the CDL exam at the local DMV...they advertise this...and go on to say that the rest of your training will be from active carriers. You will also find that what you have learned from the school now in the course, will have you spitting BB's as to the price they are charging...you will understand that last statement in time.

    I hope I won't need luck.

Don't worry, I will post up if I get out there and find that I have been taught incorrectly.

On that line...remember, the "real world" and school are not even related! The school has the advantage of dealing with one schedule...theirs...but out here we deal with 3 all at once. The shippers schedule, the receivers schedule, and our schedule to pick up the load, to manage our hours, and the final on time delivery.

What you learn in school is "chicken feed" to what really happens on the road and in the docks.

Mike' and Saddle Tramp Thank this.
