Star Transport

He said not Star Transportation. That one is nashville. I am guessing redstar.

 

There is about a half a dozen star outfits. Blue, red, green, landstar, yellow. etc. I figured he was talking about red. Red and blue are the most popular.

 

unless they have changed allot there equipment used to really stink. i drove for a guy who bought some of there old trucks thought he got a good deal. Was he wrong first load i took with one of them i called back and ask him where i needed to go to get it fixed. 310 hp cat turned down to 1600 rpm with a straight 7 speed talk about a gutles wonder it would die if you saw a sign with the word hill on it. I had 15000 going up Black mountain in NC and was down to 3rd gear man what a joke. we turned it up to 2200 and it ran allot better but still had no real power. It was gear bound.

 

I just graduated on Friday and I am scheduled to go with Star Transport myself. I am hoping to find a local job if I can, but will go with Star for some OTR experience if I cant find something local.

 

Does anyone have anything good to say about Star Transport out of Morton, Illinois? I did a search of the forums and what little I found was all negative.
