No big loss in my book......never wanted to go there anyway...no offense meant to our neighbors from the north..... a visit wouldn't be bad but not to work there...strictly tourist visit:yes2557:

You don't know me. There is no chance of relapse in my future.

Sometimes, when I get stressed, I might crave a cigarette, but I have not had one of those in over 11 years either.

There is one drug that I have quit cold turkey many times with long periods of success only to relapse. Caffiene. Gas station cappachinos and Mt. Dew are always my undoing.

Very true. In Canada, a DUI is of felony status. Noone convicted of a felony or anythng that is considered a felony in Canada can enter.

The manufactuer that I worked 17 years for has thier own motor carrier division and they require admission into Canada. I will never get to drive one of thier pretty black trucks with an eagle on the side.

It is so simple to find rides when I am out on the town or up in the local watering hole.

Never had a DUI or even an open container violation.

I know i will get slack for this comment. If you decide to drive drunk..you should have to pay the price!!!! I also would like to see any commerical driver who got a dui.. while holding a c.d.l...be banned from getting a cdl for 10 years. you need to use your head before you kill someone.. I hope csa weeds out the bad apples in the industry

You can go back to canada after a period of time, but you have to file for ,I think it is called , a queens pardon. Basically you send a wad of cash to canada and you get a letter saying that you can enter canada again. There are a few driver in the company that I work for that have done this.
