It was just the noise. It may have been that the one's May ran back then were just loud. As other drivers have said, there are quiet one's out there but that wasn't my experience.
Also, as someone pointed out, you'll also find yourself parked next to reefers and the only real option is to move but then who says another reefer won't pull in next to ya.
At that point I just put up with it and put some plugs in but fortunately that doesn't happen very often.
When you sleep in a reefer, how loud is the noise?

Didn't you already bail on a bus ticket they sent you before? What makes you think they'll entertain the idea of buying you another ticket? -

My personal opinion is that your feet are too cold to even consider driving a truck yet. Admit it, you missed that bus on purpose. You were afraid to jump in the water. That type of behavior does NOT make a good truck driver. Shippers and Receivers (as well as customers at WalMart, other grocery stores, steel plants, etc.....) DEPEND on you not being afraid to move that barge down the road so they can get their stuff! If you have ANY second thoughts about it before you even try, don't bother.
You ever think about the Army?Rerun8963 Thanks this. -
You might want to be careful about setting fire to bridges before you even get there! -
Lupe, join the Army. Better yet, join my Beloved Marine Corps. You'll learn a LOT at Parris Island. You will never be the same, guaranteed.

I was thinking using a few years in the Army to sort of.... "wake him up", if you know what I mean.
There was nothing screwed up about me that a good boot in my ##### in the Marine Corps couldn't fix.
