you aren't going to be able to power all that on a 400 watt inverter.

and having had a tv on the road....just use your laptop to play movies on..if you manage to get tv signal anywhere it's never that good,
besides if you have enough time to watch tv then you ain't makin money...I used to put a movie in my laptop and within 15 minutes I'd be asleep

    Just my 2 cents

Hamshoe, you can buy a VGA cable for about $5 and a 3.5 audio cable for a couple dollars more and hook your netbbook up to the TV and either use it as a larger computer monitor or more importantly use the netbook to stream Netflix or Hulu or go to any of the major broadcaster's website, like ABC's (they don't broadcast on HULU, that is FOX, NBC venture) to your TV. You don't even really need to worry about a broadcast signal when you can get most programing online for free, the only thing you don't get is local programming, sporting events or local news.

I would double check the specs on both the inverter and the fridge to make sure they will be compatible......normally those fridges pull alot of power and that may be too much for a 400 watt. I used to have a coleman electric cooler that I plugged into the 12v in the bunk and used my 400 watt inverter for everything else. I upgraded to an 800 watt inverter but I still wouldn't have wanted to plug a fridge into it.
The reason for double checking it is you don't want a fire to start...because something shorts out.....these #### trucks go up in flames really quick man

Not sure 400w will power a fridge hence the reason a lot of swifties have to get 12v coolers

Very true sir. I am a freak about things like that. Safety is my number one priority. If it means getting a coleman, I will have too. Any company driver have the current rules for inverter sizes if ones are allowed??

My brother gave me a nice little contraption...it is self contained and charges thru the cig liter. Sears (DieHard) makes it I think...anyways..it has air compressor...up to 200 psi...300 amp 12v converter with two 12 volt outlets and 2 120 outlets and one usb and will jump start a car...hope I don't have to find out if it will start my sled!...lol

That compressor wiill take you a month to fill up a truck tire.. High pressure, low volume..

That inverter is 300 watts not 300 amps.. It'll charge a cell phone and computer. Don't try to run any appliances with it..

I think I'd leave it at home..
