I was wonderin' why my 23 was not giving a response.... did I miss the company info on it's death or was it just killed with no info?
12 sucks! Routed to low bridges a number of times and sent into bizaro world or worse.
Often the phone # given is wrong or no answer or a dimwit.
No macro 23 = loss of time and money for everyone

they sent out a message last week or so saying they were going to Maptuit directions. First thing you should be doing, is plotting your fuel route against a randy mcnally map anyway, when you see it telling you to take a state route or anything. If you know its interstate, you know you'll fit....just sayin', dont use the QC directions as an excuse or cry because they're harder. Yeah, it'll take some time to get use to, but like REDD said, never hurts to call the shipper/drop location to verify directions.

my dm must have been getting alot of complaints on it. he sent out a qc message telling us all the call the quality assurance line and let them know how we feel about the mc23 going away. which I did

I can't stand this new direction mc12. Being new and now having horrible directions on top of it is just making this a major pain in my ###. Nothing more angering then being routed down a wrong road and not being able to find a place to turn around.

I use that and bing often to just get more details, especially when in a large city. The Truck GPS is worthy, not worth every penny, but is helping more than without one.

It don't matter what directions I use...I make wrong turns constantly...of course you can't make a u-turn....all I can say is they are some really patient motorists out there for the most part...when they see a big rig in trouble...maybe the title for my book..."Big Rig in Trouble" or maybe it will be "No that's not really a u-turn you see".

I guess I have a "wrong turn" phobia, I use company directions (Well used too), truck gps, microsoft streets n trips, bing/google on most every trip where I go to a new customer I'm not sure about. Use all of em pretty much all together, streets n trips has usually been the most accurate out of everything.

Why remove a tool from the box, especially the one that was most reliable?
Example: check route using fuel route, rand, gps.
Get there, nothing there wrong address.
    Call shipped - voice mail.
do mc23 - says turn right at water tower down unmarked road.
So without mc23 id been hosed.
Or...or..or... like 20 more examples of mc23 being valuable........

    fairshake Thanks this.
