Did many a loads out of Williamsburg, Cartersville, Houston and Jacksonville. Always drop and hook and 75% of the time loaded early. My only problem is the short runs. 300 miles to do in 18 hours.

AB is InBev. They are a company from Belgium. The family sold out a number of years ago.

I did live loads at StL. The workers are well paid (over $30 an hour). Yes, they take their breaks. But if you were paying union dues for collective bargining, and had breaks, would you not take them? You pay for it!

The guys at the plant were angry and bitter. They were losing personell to attirtion. but not hiring new. The operators were all of a sudden doing the work of 1.5 guys.

I'm not making excuses for the slowness. I just understand the corporate mindset that makes operators behave in such a way toward truck drivers. They suck on many levels, see my post on AB CO Distribution Center in Aurora.

No truck driver should be drinking their products. Another poster mentioned that their freight rate didn't even pay for the fuel. This is correct. They payed $435 from Ft Collins to Olathe. Do the math. They're evil.

Sorry i have to put a BS on this post,I have hauled out of that facility(really everyone of them) and it is the policy of AB that no truck shall leave that is not in compliance with DOT weight restrictions. They will send you back to dock until you are compliant, every AB facility has a set of scales.

If you believe truck driver stories.

Who do you think AGREED to have the product loaded on their truck? The evil ones are the ones that say "Yep, we'll haul your cheap ### beer">

Don't blame corporate America for someone else's stupidity!

They have given me bills before when my axles have been off. They gave me the option of going around and reweighing, but with 1000#'s to spare on the trailer, and 100#'s over on the drives, I knew I only had to slide it one hole, so I told them I was fine and they gave me my bills and away I went after I slid the one hole. However, their printers will not print the bills for a load if the truck on the scale is over 80,000#'s.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...61/Inbev-directors-set-for-730m-windfall.html
If AB Inbev meets a key financial target relating to paying down its debt, executives will benefit from an incentive scheme that the company introduced when the brewing giant bought Anheuser Busch in 2008.
The deal created the world's largest brewer, with brands such as Beck's, with the group generating $36.8bn (£23.2bn) in revenues in 2009.
Carlos Brito, the Brazilian chief executive of AB Inbev, oversaw the deal and could get in the region of €98m if the plan pays out.
The company took on $54bn of debt at the time of the merger and, since then, has been taking steps to pay down its debt pile, which stood at $45bn in 2009.
Under the windfall plan, 40 executives were granted 28.4m stock options.

Yay corporate America! Oh wait! Not!

Ok YOU go deadhead out of Denver with a dry van. I dare ya!

On the backs of truck drivers. Go corporate America!

I got paid regardless. I just cared about my company. My bad.

You don't go to CO, do you? Potatoes, beer, wheat. Batteries. Why would you say that to me about the freight that my company books to keep me in their lanes? So the people in Denver don't deserve their goods? You obviously know it all. Please share more, I am new and want to learn. Perhaps CO cost of living isn't enough. This started with the AB freight rate from FT C to Olathe. I saw it and reported it. You called me a liar and then insulted me.

I think I'd avoid you at that truck stop counter. You are mean. That isn't acceptable in business. If you think it is, then I know exactly where you stand. No where near me and mine.
