well they put me in the dump devision because i can be home more. This was my first day on the job with a trainer and it was good and easy if I might say so. They give you choices on what loads are avalible and what they pay and it is up to you to decide which load you want. Then they leave you alone. You use your qualcom only to tell them when you are at delivery point, when you are emty and when you are loaded. Thats it! The paperwork is very simple also. The trainer I am with got $180 for a 5 hour run thats not bad at all. They are telling me I should be able to make $200 a day plus be home a couple times a week. It all sounds good so far.

I asked my trainner about that company and it is owned by R&J but has different name he says it is the same exact way. I was told by a driver today that he has to run illegal just to make money but I think that he does that on his own no one else that I have talked too said that One more day with the trainner and I will get my truck assignment and then we will see I guess

Where all did you run while you were with your trainer and what were some of the materials you hauled?

we ran to pittsburg, kentuky, huntington, and southern ohio we hauled magnesium that looks like gravel but is heavy they only put 2 buckets in your bed and you are grossing 79000 lbs. we go anywhere there is a iron mill

the two guys I know that worked there said equipment was good...to make good money had to run illegal...stay away from running daycabs (long hours no money) both said pulling bulk tanker was way better money and trips than pulling buckets...one guy said work hard do everything they asked you to do and one screw up your gone, your previous good deeds(legal or illegal) had already been forgotten...this is hearsay ...but it came from two hands that I know personally...so you can take it for whats its worth....I do know that their trucks are fairly gutless cause I passed one last week going down the WV tpike...I dont get to use the left lane very much(proud driver of a gutless maxxforce 13)

well I have not had to run illegal yet I have told my dispatcher that I would not so if they fire me because I won't break the law then I will set at home and draw unemployment I guess. The trucks are nice and fairly new mine has more power than what I am use too and yes I get passed all the time but I am usually grossing 80,000lbs most of the time. But the job is easy they give you a load and if you do what you are supose to then no problems. I have been running around 6 hours one way and Been making $200 a day so I think it is good so far. I am sure that there will be some bad things come along but it is better than where I came from. I pull dumps and yes I heard that the tankers made more but they are out for 2 weeks.
