Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

This is only the 2nd time that I have been through here. Yeah I'm glad I'm parked I got here yesterday. I couldn't even get out if I wanted to because the entire entrance is full of trucks that come off the interstate when it closed down. There are trucks even stuck on the road out side of the parking lot its crazy!!!

Heading to Ochaleta, OK myself. Wondering what its going to be like when I get there. I'm parked at a Huddle House in Dawson, GA. No snow but a fair amount of rain. Supposedly a tornado watch is in effect. Don't care if one takes me out, just don't wake me up!!!

 

Not entirely sure where Ochaleta is but I do know that 44 from MO state line down not sure how for earlier today they said would be closed for 96hrs. MO 44 at least from the OK state line to Springfield was closed until further notice.

 

my appt is for 1300 in Kansas City tomorrow.... Yeah right not going to happen. not with 70 mph gusts and blowing snow

Keep those weather and road closure reports coming. They're making my decision to come off the road seem like the right one!
