Hey guys, the "bad info" I got was from one of the other guys in orientation...when I heard it I tried to verify and found out it was crap....

We got our road tests done yesterday - I like the trucks - Kenworth T660 and Pete 387. They have 500 new Kenworth T700s coming in this year. The T700s will have APUs. All trucks have Cummins ISX 450, T660 is a 9 speed, 387 is a ten.

We are getting out of here today (Thursday), looking forward to getting going. Company has alot of potential and upward mobility...I'm excited about that.

I've never had a chance to grow with a trucking company before and I'm looking forward to it.

"Happy" to see you contributing your negativity to yet another thread.

To anyone who is not aware, this is apparently a VERY unhappy person who considers the day a total loss if someone has not been ridiculed and their company demeaned.

I have not been able to figure 123456 out. Very negative and negative about most companies. Seems to have an opinion about every company and yet purposefully does not list any experience as a driver in their profile. I have also seen him/her help some new guys out. There is an agenda but I cannot figure out what it is.

    sydsdriver and rickway65 Thank this.

Mmm, hmm... and DocHoliday is where????

I've talked to Mark several times, both before and after he left JBS. Mark is a professional truck driver who just didn't agree with a policy change that was implemented last fall. Since he's moved on, I'm sure he has no reason or desire to monitor this board. His email address is listed in previous posts, though, so I'm sure he would answer questions he receives when he gets time. Mark is still a JBS supporter, but JBS isn't a fit for him personally.

I'm sure he is getting along fine... but that wasn't the point. This was a response to the post below:

And that exactly is the point. JBS will come along just fine IF they can keep drivers like Mark. Hiring management personnel who worked for the WORST of the bottom feeders (i.e., Arrow) does not bode well for current and future driver-employees of this carrier. People don't tend to change - and I really wouldn't have confidence hanging my star on a carrier who goes to this sort of nazi-esque scum for management expertise.

Yeah, I haven't figured out the agenda either. I just don't want anyone who is new to the forum to fear a company because 123456 thinks bad of everyone.

Respect your opinion, but there isn't anyone at JBS Carriers that came from Arrow, at least not anyone in Operations management. The President had a brief stint at KLLM, but over a dozen years before that with CR England. Other Ops management came from Arnold Trans and Dart Transit.

You said the president had a brief stint at KLLM but he had over a dozen years at CR England like KLLM is Bad and the good part is he had over a dozen years at CR England. Uh over a dozen years at CR England would be the bad thing. The office person on here said that they doubted JBS would ever get a lease purchase program but if the current president came from CR England I would almost guarantee they are going to get a lease program because that is CR Englands main thing and if he spent a dozen years there he had to of liked the lease business.
