I'm beginning to look at carriers in New England. I think all of the ones I've listed require at least one year of OTR. I won't have a year until June but I'm starting to do the research now. Anything at all that you know about these carriers would be helpful to me as I decide whether or not I'm going to move away from Swift. I've been to all of these carriers' websites so I have some very basic information but I'd like to get some first hand, "been there, done that" info. Thanks!![]()
Hartt, New Century, NEMF, Pottles, RC Moore....

Prime? Would that be a lateral move or an upward move from Swift?
I talked briefly to a Hartt driver a couple of nights ago. He's been with them for nearly 4 years. Had nothing bad to say about them. Gave me the name and number of the person I would need to talk with there. I liked what he said about their starting pay/mile, the number of miles he runs and equipment maintenance. -
Doesn't Swift have some kind of regional or dedicated that runs New England only?

i can tell by the title of the post that you was looking for gigs in the far northeast... but i do know that RC Moore, Pottles, and Hartt runs alot of water out of those bottling plants in Maine.. Constantly 45K out of there but i think they are only out 5 to 7 days.. mainly regional.... i like RC Moore KW's. and most of there equipment so i would check them out first...

Target dedicated account isnt based out of New England, but they would be willing take you on the account because they deliver to stores throughout New England. Average about 2500 mi a week. Target drivers are home almost every night.
Also check out Regency Trans. (http://www.regencytrans.com/) I saw an Ad a few months ago, they were looking for NE Regional drivers paying 48 cpm. Not sure how much experiemce they require though.
