    or centerline drivers ?
    how do they work ?
who pays if there is a fee?

most of those are considered headhunter sites...one ap goes to tons of companies...then either a recruiter from the company gets ahold of you or a freelance recruiter gets ahold of you and gets you set up with the companies....there is no fee to you

you would have as much luck with your state's unemployment office where you can post your resume`..you can also post your resume` on Monster, and My Career Builder as well...

the trucking companies pay the fee, usually NOT you...if any website asks for a fee, simply go onto another website.

posting a resume` is easy, just leave out your home phone number if you want, but be sure to include you email address.

you're much better off taking some time and contacting recruiters directly. but before you even do that you should take a look at what you are looking to gain. do you want a long term position with room to grow? do you just want to get that essential year or 2 and then move onto local stuff? once you figure out what you wanna do, then do a little research on the companies find out what some complaints are, find out where their terminals are. its best to find a company with a terminal near you. once you figure out what companies meet your needs, contact them directly. going threw companies like truckingjobs.net you might find a job but you'll probably end up getting on with someone that you hate.

centerline driver is like other agencies. theyll put u on an account if that account calls them and tells them they need a driver. for intance centerline may call u and say we need a driver for pfg ( performance food group for 2 days and it pays 185 a day all hand unload) either u say ok or u say no. if u say no u ask what else do u have. they might have 18.25 an hour flatbed work in this town.... etc.. they dont have many jobs and the jobs they do have usually suck. other agensicues usually have the same jobs too. when u are a casual driver like that u get no vaca no benes no holidays nothing. and u get to start a new company all the time so its like u never feel like u know what your doing
