driver bonds

    what is this and why is a company wanting driver's to get bonded.this is what the recruiter sent me.

    :biggrin_25521:Every driver is required to do a driver bond it is $750.00 we take $25.00 a week until your bond is satisfied.

    What IS a bond??-Seriously,I dont know..I have seen the question on many a app,of course answer no,never been bonded,but dont know the meaning.. Anyone wanna know about bail-bonds??:biggrin_255:

    Bonded companies are often companies that deal with access to valuable property. When I had my cleaning company, it was bonded to cover theft by employees. I never had to do a separate bond on each employee though.

    This bond he's talking about may be different though.
