I dont know anything texas oilfield work but I do know a little about it in WV,KY and PA...the works moving out of eastern Ky,WV,VA everybodys heading for the Williamsport PA area...I have been up there on a couple of frac jobs(4 weeks) I have talk to a few of the guys hauling water and they tell me cant get enough drivers now...water and frac work isnt like running OTR...takes the right guy...their telling me a guy can make 1500-1700 week no problem...BUT like i say it takes a special person...hours are LONG....skinny roads, steep grades, driving slow & gettin dirty my father hauled frac water back in the late 70,s and Ive done a lot of nitrogen frac work in the past ( mainly WV,KY) oilfield work is the perfect job for some but I have seen billybig riggers try it and fail....its not bad work but it can not be compared to hauling OTR in any way ,shape or form...

Well I looked up tanker crude oil jobs. I found one that pays well. So stop bashing him.
A huge well known company is in fact hiring.
They say 10-12 hours days. Home daily.
    .3845 per mile plus . .17-.21 per barrel commission. That's dollar$

I've been here most of my life.........I holler about the heat in the summer.

    It's a trade off........like anything else.

I'll still take the heat over the cold! It's easier to cool off than warm up. Especially if the cold is 30 below!:biggrin_2559::biggrin_25525:
