CELADON Trucking Services/CELADON the Trucker's career ender's

The trucking industry as a whole is pretty heartless , just to sum things up in one quick generalization. However some companies are worse than others. At this point ive driven professionally for over 15 years. In that time ive driven for over 10 trucking companies. The reasons for leaving them ranged from unsatisfied with equipment , or pay , and sometimes the way they run things. This is AMERICA , we should have the freedom to work or not work for whatever reason we want. Which brings me to the place I am now. Unemployeed and unhireable. Why...? All because I chose not to work for a particular company. They have placed untrue information on my records and it has braught my career to an end. I say this not for pity , but to warn others of this potential hazard . Save your career ; never work for CELADON TRUCKING SERVICES.

 

I wish that was the case. My DOT record is not perfect , but fairly clean. I have been informed by other potential employers that everything has checked out good. Until they get to the Celadon employment verification. They list where they terminated me , but infact , it was me that left. Which has put a bad mark on me . Celadon has done what is called "BLACKBALLING".

 

For those that need more complete info. I was enployeed by Celadon and after 4 plus years terminated my own employment , but Celadon place a remark in my file saying they terminated me and gave false reasons for the termination. I hope this has placed some light on the situation know as "BLACKBALLING".

 

Somethings dont need to be posted all over the internet. Im sure anyone would feel the same way , if they had to wear the same shoes.

I was employeed by Celadon for over 4 years. I terminated my own employement, they placed false info on their record of me not on the DAC . My DAC is good and my DOT record is somewhat clear. I have been informed by other potential employers, that everything is good until they get to the Celadon employment verification. Thats where the misinformation sets. I cant speak for anyone else , but yah, this kind of activity makes me upset. Discrutled...? Yah, maybe that too. I bet anyone would be though. This info I put on here, not for me, but others that value their own careers. Take or leave what I post. Anyone that ever decides to work for Celadon after reading my warnings ; well they will get to see first hand.
