I left Richfield yesterday (Thur) morn heading about 1.5 hrs south. I broke down right after I got on I-90 West. The gauge on my dash read -11 (MINUS). Holy ####! Good thing I have a bunk heater, lol. Turns out the fuel was gelling even with additive in it. Now that's cold.

Picked up my load and here I am in E. Syracuse, NY waiting to be dispatched. Hopefully they get to me soon.

Have a great weekend and be safe!

Thats what I couldn't figure out. I was driving for almost 1 1/2 hrs before it started acting up. But quick fix thankfully.

I'm back after taking 3 days off. It was enjoyable to say the least. It's Saturday morn and got dispatched already, Yea! Picking up in Cincy and delivering in Carlisle, PA. I need all the miles I can get because of the home time. Taking a couple of days off in the middle of the week really hurts the end result.

Be safe and courteous out there!

I dropped my load in Carlisle, PA last night then hit the Flying J 7 miles away for the night.

Thanks to the fine professional mechanics at Trenton my bunk heater is fugged up. At first I couldn't even get it to work. Then at 3:30 a.m. I woke up freezing my nads off, so I said screw it and idled the truck for some heat. I still had the switch on on the bunk heater but it wasn't working at that time. I awoke around 6:30 sweating my butt off. I felt like I was in a sauna.

Anywho, hit ready for dispatch and got a load picking up in Mountain Top, PA going to Holland, MI. The pick up is a drop and hook so no biggie. Fueled up, grabbed me a mug of joe and headed north.

Got my loaded trailer and headed towards Michigan. Weather was fine until around just east of Cleveland. Between Cleveland and Toledo I could not believe how many cars were spun out or crashed. Guessing maybe a dozen or so. The roads weren't really that bad so I'm guessing they were going to fast. Just crazy.

Stopped for the night at the service plaza on I-80 W. I have to say the drivers area is pretty nice. Showers are clean. Really nice of the state to do that for us.

Time to call it a night. zzzzzzzzzz

    Hitman Thanks this.
