Yeah, there are some that are overweight but go look at the law enforcement agencies websites and you will see that is a requirement to get hired on. If the person doesn't seem to care how big they get then they don't care about there health! How you u like If a obese driver had a heart attack while driving and ended up crashing & possibly killing people like your family. People need to stop making excuses & justifying them

No one told me I had to sleep on my back. They just affixed all the leads, told me to go to bed when I was ready, and let me sleep in whatever position I chose.

I was told I could sleep in whatever position I wanted to, but at some point they would wake me and try to get readings while I slept on my back.

I never got that far. My oxygen levels dipped enough to warrant waking me, fitting me with the cpap mask, and continue the test to fine tune the machine to my particular diagnosis.

I couldn't tell you the particulars, but there was a significant difference in the before and after metrics I was shown.

As I've said before, I never felt sleep deprived before, and I don't feel any different with the machine. However I sleep a lot less.

Believe me,I'm not making excuses for anyone being obese.I don't think anyone needs to be.I was just wondering about the cops being fit.I have two in my family, and both are really large.:biggrin_2559:

You asked that question, but never volunteered whether you had, or what qualifications you possess in this area.
    Exaggerate much?
I will tell you that I have had two sleep studies. I was never told to sleep any particular way. I was told that if I normally sleep on my back, then it would be beneficial for me to do that during the test. Since that is when I would be most likely to have apnea events. Once I explained my usual sleeping positions, then I was encouraged to sleep that way.
Did you want to try to provide any support for that claim?
And I don't blame any company for not hiring her.

To summarize... you choose to make your second post on this forum a sweeping condemnation of something that you apparently know nothing about. Does that about cover it?

Yes it makes perfect sence or is it dollars to be able to fit behind a steering wheel, but seriously safey is a big factor there are to many risks involved just as companies are particular about employing people who have alot of traffic infringments is that discrimination too? As an employer it is their right to choose who ever they please.

I had never thought about that. I love your idea on how to pick a restaurant. Come to think of it, one could probably get some "good" info from the exterminator too.:biggrin_2551::biggrin_2551::biggrin_2551:

I'm thinkin' it's not the Big truck truckin' companies that are behind all this, Josh. I'm thinkin' is their insurance carriers wantin' to hand pick the healthy ones that are least likely to affect their bottom line adversely.
And let the rest fend for themselves.

Awsome powah those insurance companies have, .... no?
