Thanks I know there are a lot more people out there with worse problems than me. I will keep trying. Worse comes to worse I will save up money and pay them up front. It will just take me more time to get going.

Why did you not qualify you can use all bills including truck, car payments etc.

The hurt back thing yes it can and will happen that is why I looked for a company that did not require that I unload much.

ROEHL seems to be a bit of PITA company. Talked to a few of their drivers. The thing I heard from them - and correct me if I am wrong - but I understand that at ROEHL if you go 70 MPH things start buzzing in your cab. If you hit 75MPH, you are qualcommed to pull into the next truckstop and are fired on the spot. Dozens of states have 70 and 75MPH speed limits - so what the heck?

In any occupation safety is important and should be ingrained in anyone thinking of driving a big rig (small rig, car, moped). But like everything in corporate America it is a a grand paper scheme that dumps it all back on the employee. Companies have these "Training Mills". You go through them for a day of drinking coffee, BSing, and in the end you sign something that states you learned the subject of the day. Then with a wink you are told to "maximize" your productivity - or - cheat as much as you can within the Company's auditing parameters and your conscience. This isn't a rant against Roehl, just a remark about safety and training in the USA workplace.

Our trucks are governed at 65 mph. When you hit 67 your qualcomm starts beeping at you,
at 71 mph you lose any chance of a saftey/ performance bonus for that quarter.
    and, at 75 you're fired.

Yup, no pets, one child, provided it's 10 or over, or a spouse.

no parents, siblings, neices, nephews, friends or whatnot.

I think it's one of the incentives to go IC with Roehl, prolly one of the reasons such a limited rider policy has been around for so long.

:biggrin_25517:I am very excited! After fearing that I wouldn't be able to to go school with Roehl my sister emailed tonight telling me that she and my brother in law will co-sign for me! Now I don't have to worry about coming up with the money. As long as I drive for them for 240,000 miles I don't have to pay it back!
