My first fuel stop was 40 miles from Conover, I called Heather and worked out a different stop as I still had 3/4 of a tank and that planned stop would have been a waste of time...

TA in Rawlings, WY. Got a load out of Ft Collins heading to Modesto. Wanted to get out of the Denver area before the snow....ended up driving right into it in Wyoming! dangit!

And did something this am I had hoped I wouldn't do my first winter out....toss chains. They had the chain law in effect over Vail for some stupid reason, they weren't needed at all.

I almost had a load a few months ago hauling some lumber from Kalispell, MT to somewhere in FL.. but I was out of cell service for 4 hours or so and didn't get the phone call... and here I thought we had these QCs for when that happens, LOL

I was in Iowa and got up north just in time before it started to hit... WY looked like it was gonna get nasty.

Also, CO & CA do that very often, and it gets very annoying. that is why sometimes it makes sense to just park and wait for them to lift it, heh
