    I knew someone would say that. Well after being out of a truck for 2 years and I am a newbe that has failed a test in the past, I am naturaly a little nervous about testing. I know I would pass it is a very easy test. We have a person that has learned on an automatic and have only driven a stick once, with no experience. And they passed and was nervous as hell. Well I will be safe. I will take what I have learned and listen and use the smith system. Thankyou all for the comments and views

    The smith system will have you tired in short order. It surprising how many people need these made up systems in order to drive, just pay attention to what's around you and what's ahead and you will be fine.

    The smith system is checkin your mirrors every three seconds I believe in addition to "aiming high" in steering...which just sounds stupid. Why not just say look ahead? I had no idea what aiming high in stfeering meant when I first heard it lol.
