Here is my main issues. When I leased on YEARS AGO, the big shots would come to the terminal and listen to the drivers they seemed to even act on what we asked about sometimes. If they told us they were going to look into something they took your truck number and phone number and would call you back and tell you what they found out, or that after investigating the problem they found out what the problem was.. EVEN if it was YOU.
We use to see the people atleast once a month they treated us very good.. I have even seen assistant terminal managers dispatchers and Terminal managers threaten to be fired if they are EVER caught lying to a driver.. Now days if you take a day off they want to know why if you had your truck in the shop they want a copy of the work order before you go back in service.
Maybe its not a bad company all and all , but the changes that were made were made months before they updated the contract and we were never told of them.. I know patmat is going to disagree with this post but it is true we are not treated well and not paid like we were agreed to be paid, but I would give up the money if I knew the guy on the phone or at the window was still on my side. -

I know you already gave a half ### apology. I have a feeling if you are a decent person you might want to give a whole hearted one after you gain some INSIGHT on me.
I will be happy to continue this conversation with you once you learn a thing or two about me. There is no reason for me to reply to anything you say when you already know my opinion before I even give it. -
Thank you. Leaving wasn't an easy thing to do. I loved my job. I loved working for the contractors. Something WorldofTrans might not fully understand, GW treats some of their office staff just as bad as the contractors, sometimes worse. I stayed as long as I could stand it. Finally Dallas (and upper management in Cleburne) pushed me until I broke. One day I snapped at a contractor. This guy hadn't done anything to deserve this. I gave my two weeks notice that day. My frustration was at corp and management and not the contractors.
I honestly have almost nothing good to say about GW. My earlier posts were not intended to sound like I was defending them. But, I feel like one should know the facts. If a contractor goes to complain about something and includes in the argument things that aren't true they are dismissed like they have no clue about anything. I am not saying that they will be heard if they don't do this... But, if they do actually find someone that cares enough to listen and at least try to help they would only hurting themselves. -
