TA's new showers

    Have you tried them? Your thoughts/opinions?

    I was at the Denton TA and used the newly remodeled showers. First impression when walking in with the tangerine colored towels, the decor and the mints nearby was "Wow, this is nice!" Then I noticed the tan tile and thought it was a nice touch. Then I checked out the shower. Loved the shower controls further back from the shower head and I loved the shelving mounted in the corner. Great place to put all my things and I didn't have to do any fun balancing acts like at some of these other places. Then I noticed they had a cloth bath mat!

    Shower was nice and hot. The decor was really nice. The staff was really nice. The lady who cleans the bathrooms saw me waiting and said as soon as one opened up she'd get right on it and clean it. (and she did)

    yea i just LOVE having to set my shampoo, body wash, razor ETC on the #### floor in some of the showers I've come across.
    I like my showers HOT too. hot and good pressure are a requirement to soothe my back after a long day driving.

    The showers at Mittens T/A in Oakley, Kansas are very nice as well. I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Ooh my yes, i stopped use all but T/A and the re-new Petro's...all otheres turn water pressure down and the water is just pis warm..:biggrin_25514:

    They totally remodeled the place after the flood - just reopening it. Definitely need to stop into the place and check it out.

    Mittens TA in Oakley KS has some of the best showers in the business.

    We don't use TA often, but I showered at two of them last week...Wytheville, VA and somewhere else I can't recall right now....but both had been redone.

    Had not one but two towels in each one (without having to ask), and those great Moen shower heads. Very pleased with both and left tips accordingly.

    Pilot: TAKE A LESSON!!

    WOW! It sure is refreshing to see some folks posting something positive about a truck stop! And TA at that!

    It sure would be nice if more truck stops actually became "trucker friendly!"

    TA showers are great except for 1 thing, I'm only 5'8" and at some of the ones I've been in I had to duck down to fit under the shower head!..........lol
