US ports are going to dry up. Freight coming out will slow to a trickle. You think Muslim extremists/weapons packed into containers will be caught by Mexican inspectors?

I guess all the long shoremen that supported Obama are pissed now. Pro union my butt!

Anyone read what concessions Obama made? That peckerhead in Mexico was making demands on us and not budging.

Was it Kruschev that said, "America will fall from within."

The only think consistent in D.C. is how they serve their masters and not their constituents(the non-large-donating ones at least)...

This is the same guy that was in charge oof the CIA when they were pulling heroin out of SE Asia and selling it on the US streets to buy arms for illegal wars?

And the same vice president who was implicated in bringing cocaine in to buy arms in the 80's causing a cocaine glut in the US? Bringing in lower prices and the popularity of crack cocaine.

    Marijuana smuggling was curtailed.

Same VP that was shaking hands with then governor Clinton as the cocaine was arriving in Little Rock AFB?

Wake up people! We are getting screwed from all sides.

We look like porcupines with all the XXXXX we have sticking in us.

Before you folks freak out about this bill, check out our Mexican Truckers threads.Especially Threads with Mexicotrucker. He talks about how hard it is to get a CDL in Mexico and most big Co's down there require 3-5 years experience for drivers. The industry down there seems to be highly regulated, maybe more so than here in the US.I'm not saying this is a good thing, just don't think that all those illegal daylaborers you see hanging around looking for work, will now be driving trucks. It's actually quite difficult to get a truck driving job in Mexico, and lot of current US drivers wouldn't make the cut down there.

From what I've read about Mexican drivers, Mexico has no drug/alcohol testing database, nor do they have regulations on maximum hours driven. I may be wrong, but this is what I've read. I haven't studied it in depth yet.

I know I was talking to a driver from Kentucky, didn't understand a word he said, maybe "squirral" and "dumplings" something like that.

Go to the terminals in Laredo and watch those crazy SOB's in their clapped out POS cabovers running stop signs, no signals and parts hanging off the truck and tell me how safe they are going to be

The original draft had them not being inspected by our DOT as they rolled down our highways impervious to our law enforcement.

It's not a racial thing with me. It's what I've seen.
