My other thread is under company DAC/USA Truck.

Carrier dropped me today whilst in class. Driver Solutions said I did nothing wrong and own no money to anyone. Good news is that I earned my DOT card and Temp CDL permit while at C-1.

That said, I am a Ohio resident. My Temp CDL permit and regular operators DL is now out of Indiana....So, do you guys think other carriers will honor this? or do I have to go back to Ohio and start all over again?

    Thanks in advance :biggrin_25519:

Did you get a Hazmat endorsement? If not it can be a big help in this Biz.

Don't quote me but if you passed all your test in Indiana I think you take all of your paper work to an OH BMV and get your CDL or call a BMV here in OH

If you don't have a hard copy CDL no company will take you

A CDL and a CDL learners permit are 2 different things. You can switch your CDL to another state when you move(but not all states as some require you to take their tests), but I'm thinking you are sol in switching the permit. Just call the Ohio DMV.

Have you checked on driving schools here in Ohio?

I believe that you can drive with another licensed driver as long as you have your temporary no matter where you live. When you get your CDL Class A it will have to be issued in the state in which you have a mailing address. I am fairly positive you can cross state lines with your temporary though.
