Why do they ask you if you smoke?

I will admit I have some flaws...but I have and always will be a "character" so smoking does not flaw my character at all...just the lack of "freshness" in my clothes...even though I insist Significant Otter use Downey in our home laundry facility!

And as far as smoking in my truck....I am a heavy smoker up to 2 packs a day...yet the mechanics don't believe I smoke in the truck! They are constantly complimenting me on the clean and non-offending interior when they do work on the truck. Other smokers, these same mechanics don't even want to get up in the cab to bring the truck to the shop. I guess one of my "character flaws" would be the fact that I am a clean freak...everything has a place and everything in it's place.

 

so Otter you're basically saying that you are OCD about cleaning and order.......there are worse flaw

Yeah I'm sure she would......while I'm not even close to OCD about cleaning and order......I do eventually get frustrated enough to actually clean up my piles of debris once in a while

 

If I start out down the road in the morning...notice something not put away...I will actually take the next ramp, stop and finish what I should have done before I started. And that could be the simple thing like not having my blanket folded and under the pillow on the passenger side of the bunk.

Some of my students had a bit of trouble getting in the habit of straightening out their "living space" while on my truck....one even forced me to gather up and toss all his stuff up onto the passenger seat and foot well while he was driving down the road! He did manage to get it all put away while I was inspecting the rest area before we continued on!

He bailed from the truck as soon as we returned to the home terminal 10 days later. And had the nerve to file a complaint of me being "to fussy about everything on the truck". I heard he went to work with CRE after Swift told him he wasn't "what Swift was looking for in a driver"....

I really don't get why ppl smoke cigarettes or cigars! When I was a teenager I smoked cigarettes for about one month , mainly because I was bored and trying to get high by putting toothpaste on it lol. ( my friend who was locked up ,came out of jail got us doing that lol. But after that one of my friends who actually been smoking cigarettes for a couple of years told me to stop because he didn't want me getting addicted.
I stop smoking cigarettes, wasn't hard because I didn't like it anyway. Then I started smoking weed! !!!!!!! Yes glorious weed! !!!! Ahhhhhhhh lol. Made my mind up after the first time of smoking weed, that if I was to smoke anything in life! That would be it, so of course now I don't but I'm sure am glad that I never got hooked on CIGARETTES !
