I believe I read in another tread somewhere. Where a lot of the other truckers warned you before you leased a truck......and you did it anyway...so I take heed in your warning....Fawne speaks from the 'horses mouth'

What Fawne did was all our fault.
When she was tryin' to decide which Big truck truckin' company to drive for after C.R. England threw her under the bus. At that time, Fawne considered our warnings to be from a bunch of malcontents who are bitter toward the industry, ---- losers who didn't have what it takes to succeed, now resorting to "bad mouthing" various Big truck truckin' companies out of spite. That, we were informed, was what made her decide to go with C.R.E.
I suppose that makes sense, although I fail to understand how or why.
Then, six months later, low and behold, ol' Fawne is sayin' the same things we were sayin' when we told her what she can expect. Unfortunately, we were correct.
It wasn't the first time we hit the head right on the nail, and I doubt it'll be the last time.
Of those who were warned and ignored the warnings, --- those with the intestinal fortitude to come back here to admit they made the wrong choice, --- also apologized for not listening.
Not ol' Fawne though.
She prefers to remain angry with those who originally tried to prevent the heartache she was headed for. What we received for our efforts is her disdain, and probably removal from her Christmas card list.
Oh well.
Now there's another voice out here "bad mouthing" C.R. England, a Big truck truckin' company that subscribes to the implementation of equality for all. Therefor, the powers that be C.R.E. strive to ensure that every one of their employees are screwed equally, and their favored employees don't get the shaft any more often than an air-headed ding-bat with convoluted reasoning can expect to receive.
What's not to like?
formertaxidriver and lostNfound Thank this. -
So we are NOT bitter malcontent losers?AfterShock Thanks this.
-
Well, ................................... technically, ...................... yeah, we are.
But that's beside the point.
Besides, that's part of the job description.
Would we be considered real Big truck truck drivers if we weren't
bitter, malcontent losers?
After all, we have an image to consider.
The last thang we need is for folks to think we're ..... normal.
"Trucker" and "normal" are two words that, when used together,
contradict each other. Like jumbo shrimp, or honest politician.
For us, it ain't normal to be normal.
-
Besides, normal is boring!

formertaxidriver, AfterShock and truckermac Thank this. -
First of all... the reason I don't listen to any of you is because most of YOU never worked for them. Second of all.. I never bad mouthed anyone. I just told the truth. Most of you people never worked for England and most of you are just sitting home making bread, instead of being on the road making dough.
I am not angry nor do I even care about CR England. It was just something I did. I appreciated the chance that they gave me and I loved being on the road but .. there are other things that I can be doing with my time.
Have a nice day.AfterShock and Bazerk Wizz Bang! Thank this. -
I've never had my foot run over by a Big truck. Does that mean I'm not aware of the pain that would cause? Without having personally experienced such an event, would I be out of line to warn others to be aware of the consequences?
How 'bout this, ........ what was said about C.R. England that wasn't true? Did you encounter any of the shabby treatment outlined here during your (predicted) very brief employment with C.R.E.?
You choose to ignore what those who haven't worked for C.R.E. have to say, for whatever reason(s), but compared to the number of folks who are presently, or have in the past been employed by C.R.E., and posted comments and warnings about the practices of C.R.E., we're just a small percentage. Oddly though, we're all sayin' the same thing, --- without comparing notes.
How is that possible?
I'm curious why you choose to ignore those who have experienced the C.R.E. (mis)adventure? They weren't blowin' smoke. So, are you suggesting that those of us who haven't been employed by C.R.E. aren't telling the truth?
I'm not real sure what, exactly, constitutes "bad mouthing". Could you clarify how you define "bad mouthing"? If, by telling the truth, what's said isn't bad mouthing, ....... than what I've been saying about C.R.E. isn't "bad mouthing" either.
It's twue!
It's twue!
Weally! It Is.Most of us people are obviously wise enough to heed multiple warnings. Most of us people seem to have the ability to discern truth from fallacy. Most of us people have responsibilities to provide for their family, and can't afford to take chances with their finances and/or credit rating, both of which C.R.E. has a documented history of destroying, --- showing absolutely no concern for the hardships they cause.
If you're so adamant about tellin' the truth, why are you not appalled by the abundant lies C.R.E. passes off as truth?
You seem to be swinging a double-edged sword.
Discredit truth and accept lies?
So much for consistency.
You're not angry?
Hmmmmmmmm
You don't even care?
Hmmmmmmmm
You do realize that "angry" would be a normal reaction, ..... right? Not caring about C.R. England is understandable after being kicked to the curb and thrown under the bus. What I don't understand is why, after experiencing rejection by C.R.E., your voice isn't among those tryin' to prevent others from going through the same nightmare. Even if they're like you, and refuse to acknowledge the potential for a heartache is highly likely, and throw caution to the wind, --- it can't be said that an effort wasn't made to make them aware.YeaH!
The "something" that you did is known as a mistake, --- compounded by the fact that you were warned, truthfully and sincerely, but you chose to believe the warnings were lies that, without having worked for C.R.E., couldn't be truthful.
Bad judgment?
Irresponsible?
Hard headed?
Glutton for punishment?Really?
C.R.E. gave you a chance to be raked over by them, chewed up and spit out, --- probably owing C.R.E. money, according to their records, and you "appreciated" it?
Amazing.Must be nice having so much time to do other things. That's a luxury most folks can't afford. They have responsibilities and obligations, and no one to support them while they do "other" things with their time.
Thank you.
I like that suggestion.
For sure today would be easy to do that.
It's sunny with temperatures hooverin' 'round 78 --> 80 degrees, and the sky is so clear that I can easily see the mountains from the front porch where I sit sippin' ice cold lemonade, feet propped up, kickin' back, watchin' the world go by.
I suppose I could be makin' bread instead, but, at yeast I have enough dough to last quite awhile.
Had I been employed by C.R. England, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'd probably be workin' two full time jobs just to cover the interest on the amount of money C.R.E. would be claiming I owe them for myriad reasons.
Thank goodness I'm not gullible.
You have a nice day too, Fawne.
I'll sign off now, 'cause I realize that there are other things that you could be doin' with your time.
Toota-Lew.
-
Hey, fawn has plenty to do. Like apply at swift or stevens cause their l/p are wayyyy better. Unless you guys start bad mouthing them too.
-
Wait till I go upstairs when my mom has dinner ready and I tell her.
-
"Hey" who?
It's "FawnE", dstar, and, ...................
.......... duuh!
Fawne already said that.
Weren't you listening in?
What were you thinkin'?
Hmmmmmmm
Hard to imagine a l/p any worse than CR.E., all thangs considered.
Usin' a C.R.E. l/p for a comparison?
Providin' facts and figures to compare should remove doubt and separate fact from fiction.
How familiar are you with either of those companies?
Are you now, or have you ever in the past, been personally involved in a "l/p" (Lease/Purchase?) arrangement with either or both of the companies you've mentioned above?
Not that it matters to me, ...............................
........... but I'm thinkin' Fawne's gonna be askin' things like that right off.
And she should.
Nuthin' wrong with doin' the right thang.
Ya reckon?Awwwww-Geee, ................. here we go again.
Would SOMEone, ........ ANYone, ......... paLEEEZE, define "bad mouthing" for me.
I'm serious here.
Better yet, ........... provide some examples,...... Even BETTER,.....
show me where I (allegedly -- awaiting definition) was "bad mouthing".
***** Side Bar ----- if any example(s) you consider to be "bad mouthing" is/are also a truism, ..... Hmmmmmmmm
I'd have a problem agreein' with that.
Now, ...... if it involves fabricated stories, false accusations, exaggerated half-truths, ---- stuff like that, ......... to me?
And this is just my opinion, ......... would qualify as "bad mouthing".
Meanness, spite, get-evenism, hate, ......... that too. Not good.
But to provide information that should be important to be aware of before making a final decision that has a better than average probability of not being the adventure, ...... as advertised, .......
........ I don't agree that's the same.
To subscribe to that inclination would require that I think that, .......although bad ain't good, ..... it's not good to point out that good ain't bad because it's the truth.
Thereby, effectively allowing bad to continue, .... unchallenged, bein', .......... bad, which would include the ramifications that result from the continuing bad.
Meanwhile, good is on the bad list. Often not considered popular due to good bein' truthful, --- 'cause, for some, it's hard to face.
For others, truth can hurt, while others find it hard to admit and/or accept and/or tell . That hurtin' feelin' usually comes from within though. It's tellin' y'all somthin'.
Ever listen?
Pretty convoluted.
Much easier, I think, to just all practice honesty all the time..
It's the best policy for a reason.
To be treated with honesty is
akin to bein' treated with respect.
Honesty is displayed,
and respect is earned.
Budda-Bing, ..... Budda-Bang.
Combined, honesty and respect are great foundations on which to build a friendship.
But, ....................... I digress.
Sorry.
My bad.
Don't be surprised if I go and do it again though.
Happens a lot.
I've been tryin' to keep it under control, but
as you can see, I ain't havin' much success.
ANYway -------------------
It's not likely that any of the Son's-0-Chester, for example, are gonna paint their inherited company in a bad light.
Like buyin' livestock at auction,....... the auctioneer is gonna announce the good points, ..... fine features, and such .
You'll never hear the auctioneer even mention, ..... well, .... listen in:...........
.......... Comin' inta the arena now we have a, ........... let's see, ......... ok, yeah,.....
Ok, ladies and gents, .......
I've been informed that, ...........
This animal is all broke down and tore up from years of bein' rode hard un put up wet. The owner was offered a few bucks for the hide, an' dog meat, ..... hooves fer glue, ........ 'bout 30, ...... 35 bucks all totaled.
But, the owner thought there'd be mo money here if y'all kin jus look pas the details.
OK, ....... what's the openin' bid?
If the Sons-0-Chester are only gonna tell one side of a story,
especially if that story isn't twue, .......... isn't it fair that someone
point out the other side of the story? A third-party, nothing to lose or gain either way, individual, would be an excellent choice, I think.
Why would someone do that?
Better question might be, .... why would the Sons-0-Chester do what they do?
If exposing inconsistencies that conflict is "bad mouthing",
What kinda mouthing are the Sons-0-Chester doin'?
*Extra credit, if y'all can come up with:
A. Why there are so many negative posts about one Big truck truckin' company that, when combined and compared, all seem to reveal the same distinct pattern.
B. Triple bonus points on top of that if y'all can provide the correct response to "A" ....
..... without resortin' to bad mouthin' 'em.
YeaH,
I know.
Ain't easy.
Almost as hard as readin' this entire post. :smt087:smt104
HeY!
I only write 'em.
I don't read 'em either.
Total waste of my time.
HaiL!
Everythang da dude writes,
I already know.
Most of the time da dude
heard it from me first.
Does da dude ever give me any credit for that?
NopE!
Nevah,
Evah.
Imagine that.
It's twue!
It's twue!
Be well mi muchachos y muchachas.
My bus is here, --- gotta go pronto.
I wanna be sure to get the seat behind the driver.
The miles get behind us sooner when the driver and I
can get down to some heavy bad mouthin'.
The passengers can listen too, ..... at their own risk, ..... with the understandin' that, .........
I ain't responsible for what I might, or might not, (all depends) say.
Repeatin' anythang y'all read that I wrote, is risky, and could result in your face meetin'
Mr. Fist.
