Roehl Transport, Schneider National, or Maverick are the best companies to start out with. I'm fairly new to the industry myself, but I've done a LOT of research on different companies, and you're gonna have a tough time finding a company that will treat you better (or pay you better) than one of these 3 if you're just starting out. I work for Roehl, and all things considered, they have given me a pretty fair shake. They have an excellent driving school as well, and do not hold you captive under contract, so you can work somewhere else if you so chose.

Helps if you tell us what part of the country you live in.

mmringer, the internet is a 'gold mine' of information. google: kentucky truck driving schools and you come up with a wealth of info. (you aren't LAZY and unwilling to Research, are you?)
Here's a cool thread on Truckers Report, too. Read up. I went to my local Tech school in Oklahoma, Central Tech. Great school.
If you study enough you will find the HORROR stories of truck driving schools costing the MOST,,,and are NEVER the Community College type of schools, which in my opinion are the BEST driving schools. Got that? Your 'vo-tech' state supported schools will be the best schools, usually.
See for yourself and decide. Good luck

i have contacted all these companys and on the first one has a training program. seems like a good one but u basicly have to have 1k to even start and u have to provide ur own transport there. u dont pay back the loan they do as long as you work for them.the others have no training on looking for people with full cdl class a's -
